All about Charging Infrastructure

Get to know the Charging Infrastructure overview and how to use it to manage your chargers

Under the category Monitor, you can find the menu item Charging Infrastructure. You can see your entire charging infrastructure listed according to charge points. In addition to the operating charge points , the planned charge points are also displayed with a blue background. By selecting a location using the dropdown on the top right of the view, the result is restricted to a customer-individual location. The option "Default Location" includes all charge points of a provider.

Further information on the use of individual locations can be found in Location Administration.

By setting filters – directly above the list – the results can be selectively reduced. The following filters are available:

  • Status
  • Firmware Version
  • Connector Type
  • Protocol Version
  • Current Type
  • Authentication types
  • Platform
  • Installation Status
  • Error rate

Moreover, charge points can be found by filtering by Country, ZIP Code or City or Street

By using the Magic Search on the right-side corner, you are able to directly search for Charge Port ID, Charging Station ID or EVSE ID. Commas („ , “) as well as semicolons („ ; “) can be used when searching after more than one ID. The list of results will directly be refreshed based on the search criteria.

By opening a table entry, you can obtain further information on the respective charger. This includes, for example, the name of the operator or the authentication types configured at the charger. For planned chargers, only a limited view will be displayed.

This includes the so-called EVSE ID. It is used for the internationally standardized identification of charge points and can therefore be regarded as the counterpart to the Charge port ID. Due to the long character sequence of an EVSE ID, it is cut to 15 characters in the eOperate portal (e.g. DE*ISE...123456). The complete character string can be viewed using a mouse hover.

An individual sorting of the charging infrastructure and further filter options are possible on the Extended overview. The master data of the chargers can be displayed, searched and filtered much more flexibly, as almost all data fields of a charger can be taken into account for display and filtering.
Columns can be selected and deselected and arranged as required using a fold-out selection window on the left-hand side. The selected columns can also be arranged by drag and drop in the list. Clicking on the menu in the column header allows a quick configuration for this column. Here, columns can be pinned, selected and deselected, filters can be set and column widths can be adjusted.
In addition to the column selection, individual filters can be set via a fold-out selection area on the left-hand side. Alternatively, the Show quick filter button can be used to set quick filters for all active columns.
eOperate remembers the columns and filters that were last selected. These are reused when the user returns to the “Extended Overview”. To restore the standard view, the selected columns and filters can be reset using the corresponding buttons (Reset filters, Reset columns).  03_charging-infrastructure-03

Clicking on the Create charging station icon opens the wizard to create an OCPP 1.6 charging station. We will guide you through each step of the process, ensuring a smooth experience. Please note that the charger is created in the installation status "Planned" and must then still be put into operation.

A CSV Export allows the local saving of infrastructure data including all chosen search criteria. Please click on the CSV Export Symbol to start the automatic download.

The separators used for the export can be defined in the User profile. More information in User profile

In the row Authentication Type you can see various symbols, which are explained below:
