Clearer labelling on the charging station details page > OCPP communication

For logical reasons, the ‘Initiator’ filter is now called ‘Receiver’. The names in the ‘Message type’ filter have also been adjusted to make them easier to understand:

  • Call → Request

  • Call result → Response success

  • Call error → Response error

The entries in the results list for the ‘Message type’ have also been renamed accordingly:

  • Charging station - Call → to Charging station (Request)

  • Charging station - Call result → from Backend (Response success/error)

  • Backend - Call → to Backend (Request)

  • Backend - Call result → from Charging station (success/error)

New filters for payment terminals

  • To help you find what you are looking for, your payment terminals can now be filtered by country, postcode/city, street, charging station ID, terminal ID and serial number under Manage > Payment Terminal.

Simplifications for charging station management

  • Integrating a charging station in the vaylens portal is now even faster and easier: we have improved the display of the wizard for creating a charging station and removed unnecessary text and design elements.

For detailed information on onboarding a charger, please refer to How to onboard a charger.

  • The HTTP Basic Password can now be changed via a dedicated button on the charging station details page > Device details.
Since it is not always feasible to change the password locally on the charger at the same time, which means that two different passwords are active for OCPP communication, it is now possible to Accept any password from the charger for 30 minutes in order to maintain communication.
