Information on the definition of price components

eMarketplace

eMarketplace simplifies the buying and selling of charging energy. For CPOs, easily commercialize charge points as vaylens purchases and sell energy to EV drivers and EMPs. EMPs gain access to vaylens' and third-party charge points, enabling them to offer charging contracts to their EV drivers within the eMarketplace network.

How do you set prices for your chargers?

In the EU, only quantity-based billing of energy is permitted. A quantity-based price component must therefore be defined for each tariff. In addition to quantity-based billing, additional time-based billing for the time during which the charger is occupied is also possible.

Please note that tariffs with price increases of more than 7 % must be allocated with at least
30 days in advance.

Price components are entered with four decimal places. You can set your individual prices as long as they comply with the overall regulations. The following lower and upper limits apply:

Limits for AC charge points
Price component lower limit upper limit
quantity-based (in €/kWh) 0,0000 €/kWh 0,7000 €/kWh
time-based (in €/min) 0,0000 €/min 0,0200 €/min after 180 minutes

Limits for DC charge points
Price component lower limit upper limit
quantity-based (in €/kWh) 0,0000 €/kWh 0,8000 €/kWh
time-based (in €/min) 0,0000 €/min 0,0200 €/min after 90 minutes
