      (De-)Commissioning Protocols for LG2WAN Stations

      How to correctly operate a charger with LG2WAN protocol

      The following information only applies to German chargers with LG2WAN communication protocol (which primarily refers to eStation and eBox).

      Due to the unique protocol requirements of chargers with LG2WAN protocol, only specific smart meters can be used. Using any other meters would result in a loss of charging data from the charger. Therefore, these meters cannot simply be converted or replaced. Instead, a dedicated process is in place where a metering technician will visit the site to replace or remove the meters as needed.

      To ensure best support and service, we kindly ask you to use the below protocols for the commissioning and decommissioning of LG2WAN stations. The documents contain important instructions and guidelines for the proper handling of these stations. They serve as a guide for the installation, operation, and decommissioning of the devices.

      Please note that the protocols are specifically designed for the requirements of LG2WAN stations and should be consulted before installation or decommissioning. 

      Also, please do not forget to return any metering devices if applicable!
