From Compleo Charging Software to vaylens

Read on how this evolution affects you and your charging management software

Compleo Charging Software GmbH has now officially become vaylens GmbH. This evolution is more than just a new name. It reflects our commitment to helping you run and monetise your charging infrastructure more efficiently. 

What this means for you in a nutshell 

• You will receive our documentation and communications in the name of vaylens 

• Your overviews and invoices in eOperate, eMarketplace, and/or Enterprise will be displayed under the name and branding of vaylens 
• You will interact over email and phone with vaylens employees 

Why we’re becoming vaylens 

• To anticipate changing customer needs: Our market evolved from simple charging from a socket, to smart stations that manage energy consumption, process transactions, and integrate with various other applications. As a result, the demand for a one-size-fits-all solution has decreased, while the need for products designed for specific use cases is on the rise. 

• To improve customer experience: In our industry, software is no longer an add-on to hardware. Our customers consider reliable and efficient charging management software to be crucial in keeping a positive user experience for their charging infrastructure. As a result, they need a direct relationship with the software provider, independent of their choice of hardware. 
• To make more room for choice: The number of charging station suppliers has skyrocketed, market regulations have evolved, and charge point operators now select multiple suppliers based on their growing needs. We see the demand for integration with more charging station models. 

What happens to Compleo Charging Solutions GmbH & Co. KG 

Compleo Charging Solutions GmbH & Co. KG will remain a hardware-only provider perfecting EV charging technology under the Kostal Group. vaylens GmbH becomes the software-only provider under the Kostal Group. 

Where and when changes are taking place 

You will see the following changes between now and the rest of this year: 

• eOperate, eMarketplace, eConnect, and Enterprise, including the environments you have access to through these products will reflect the vaylens name and branding. Compleo Charging Applications GmbH (applicable for Enterprise users only) will be renamed to vaylens Applications GmbH. 

• Any invoices, contracts, documentation, and emails you receive from us will reflect the vaylens name, branding, and email address i.e. invoice@vaylens.com for invoices. 

• Our company website will become available at vaylens.com. All prior websites or web pages related to Compleo Charging Software GmbH will be redirected to vaylens.com. 
• Our presence on social media, including any prior pages and profiles dedicated to “Compleo Charging Software GmbH”, will be updated or redirected to “vaylens”. 

What will stay the same 

Please note that our Operate IDs, VAT ID (DE352928826), support phone number (exclusively available to customers), and your integration(s) with our system (api.services-emobility.com) will all remain the same. You can also keep using our current support email address (help@emobility.software) until further notice. 

What action is needed from you 

No action is needed from you for now. We will notify you via email when the renaming of our legal entity is complete, and you can adjust our company details and email addresses in your systems and/or invoices.
