Does vaylens offer the option of carrying out firmware updates for the chargers?

The availability of firmware updates may vary depending on the specific hardware model and whether we are provided with the necessary updates from our suppliers. While we cannot guarantee firmware updates for all charging stations, we are committed to ensuring the highest standards of performance and functionality. Does vaylens support the integration with other systems, such as accounting software or fleet management tools? 

Yes, our eConnect Portal provides you with valuable data for your own eMobility business. We make them available to you via so-called application programming interfaces (APIs). For personalized consultation, we encourage you to reach out to our team. 


Does vaylens support mass migration of charging stations in case of a backend switch?

Yes, a bulk of OCPP chargers can be migrated by importing an Excel file to your charging infrastructure. You can download a tailored template for your import from the portal. 


Does vaylens offer an intuitive error analysis to evaluate errors without having to consult a specialist?

At vaylens, our aim is to make error analysis straightforward and accessible to everyone, regardless of expertise. Our dashboard offers a concise overview of infrastructure performance, giving you an immediate snapshot of the situation. Our system uses different colors to signify various statuses. Furthermore, visual representations in the form of pie diagrams accompany error descriptions, providing you with a clear understanding of error distribution and rates.


I have a lot of chargers. Can I create an overview which utilizes filters and only shows the data I am interested in?

While all charge records are readily available, we offer an Extended Overview feature for added customization. Within this feature, you can refine your view by applying filters, adjusting columns, searching for specific information, sorting data, and selecting display preferences. Additionally, you can export the filtered data to Excel for further analysis or reporting. 


Can I change data via APIs or synchronize data with my systems?

Yes, vaylens offers several APIs which cover most use cases, e.g. download charge data, change OCPP configuration, change pricing, restart charger, mobile applications, etc. If you need something that you don’t find in our documentation, please reach out to us. We will find a solution.
