Why you need charge point stickers and where to get them
Charge point stickers are labels which are attached next to charge points. They typically display essential charge point details that help EV drivers identify and utilize a charger effectively which means that every charge point needs its individual sticker.
Next to usage instructions for carrying out a charging session, they may provide a QR-code for Direct Payment or contact information for customer support to assist drivers in case of issues or questions.
Furthermore, they indicate the charge point's connector type which helps drivers quickly identify if their vehicle is compatible with the charger.
For identification in the Roaming context the sticker also displays the charge point's unique EVSE ID. When attaching the charge point stickers, make sure that the EVSE ID and the charge point to which the sticker has been attached are clearly assigned. The EVSE ID must later be entered in the vaylens portal at this charge point.
